Because I am a Woman

This blog is about sex-positivity, sex-ed, feminism, reproductive rights and activism.

Feel free to send me a message with your questions about sex, sexual health, sex toys, feminism, or anything else!

ive got a semester on sexual ethics coming up in my religion class (i go to catholic school). i know i'm going to be uncomfortable because i have a very sex positive/feminist view on things and i feel alone in this (meaning in my class). it's confusing though because my teacher claims to be a total feminist but she's also anti premarital sex, anti abortion, pro-purity so i don't know how to approach issues with her/my class. any tips on how to discuss things without coming off as a total ass?

I know it isn’t the exact situation you are in, but there is actually a really great article from Planned Parenthood about speaking to Anti-Choicers. They were talking about family at Thanksgiving, but all of the advice is completely relevant to what you may deal with.

The link for that is here.

Good luck!
