Olympia Snowe is retiring.

I AM SO DONE WITH TODAY. 

Although Olympia Snowe is an AMAZING woman, her voting record is a mixed bag. However, she is truly one of the most incredible people I have had the pleasure to meet. Did anyone else check her out in Miss Representation? Not to mention her recent announcement that she backed birth control. I have a picture of myself standing with her on my wall next to my bed!

In Maine, most of us are hoping her seat will go to a Democrat now. Although Olypmia Snowe was by all means an incredibly moderate Republican, I still can’t imagine that this would be a bad thing.
