I was just wondering something about mirena. I've had it for about three months with no complications or strong side effects. I do however have very light bleeding almost daily. Some days lately it seems more like a bloody discharge. My first two periods were on time. This third one is three days late. I have no pregnancy symptoms and I can feel my strings. But of course it's still bothering me a bit. Is all this "normal"?

Yes, it is perfectly normal. It can take up to six months for the Mirena and your body to settle and get back to normal (1). Spotting is fairly common with all methods of birth control as well, and it is normal for it to happen the entire time you use it. If you are feeling worried about it, or if there are sudden changes, I would recommend speaking to your doctor about it just in case.
