I've been having a difficult time getting aroused in general, even by myself. It's disconcerting, but I'm fairly certain that its stress related. Is that a thing? Also, the bf feels like it's him. It's not. I've been putting out once a week even though I'm not into it right now. This has never happened before. Is there any thing I can tell him to reassure him? Is there anything you can tell me? PS Love your blog :)

Being generally not turned on due to stress is so incredibly common. We all feel this from time to time. Desire also changes over time, and due to tons of other factors.

If you feel like there is something that isn’t right with your body, then by all means go see a doctor. You will know best if it feels like there is something wrong that shouldn’t be.

You can tell your boyfriend that it is perfectly natural for desire to be impacted by other factors. If its due to stress, it will pass as you relax. There will be times when you’re more into it, and times when you’re less into it. Tell him to hang in there, (and you hang in there too!) I promise it will get better!

i heard that there was going to be an extremely graphic 'pro-life' commercial during the super bowl, where they were supposedly supposed to show parts of aborted fetuses. it's not over yet, but i think i might have missed it. have you seen it? how come there aren't more pro-choice commercials?

I am not watching the super bowl, so I haven’t seen any advertisements played during it. However, I know what ad you are speaking of and I’m unsure if it is being played. If it was, it was only scheduled to happen in select places.

There aren’t more pro-choice commercials most likely because it is not the most effective form of advertising for them. There are also a lot of technicalities associated with any kind of advertising within the abortion debate. There are more long-winded explanations, but this is the basic short answer.
